The Paarl Cycle Tour, a seeding race for the 2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour, takes place on Sunday 2 February 2020, starting and finishing at a great new venue, Fairview Wine Estate, which offers ample parking. The races will take place on the rural roads in the Agter Paarl area.

From Fairview the route heads north to turn right onto the R44 at Ruitersvlei. After a climb to Windmeul there is a fast downhill past Nelson’s Creek straight over the R44/R45 4-way stop towards Wellington. Turn left onto Stokery and left again onto Lady Loch then right after the Lady Loch bridge, then right onto the R45 towards Malmesbury. A challenging climb after the Bot River to a left-hand turn onto Slent (Voor Paardeberg) Road.
After the Sonop climb, the route passes the Paardeberg prison to Boerfontein and a right turn onto Vryguns. This is followed by a left onto the R302 at Klipheuwel and over the R312 4-way stop before passing over the N1 at Joostenberg. Turn onto the R101 (Old Paarl Road), through Klapmuts to finish at Simonsvlei winery. Then return to Fairview.
Please note we have a Paarl Cycle Tour package, 3 day rental and you only pay for 2 days. You pick your bike up on Saturday and bring it back on Monday and you only pay for 2 days. Payment is required within 48 hours of confirmation of provisional booking.
We have brand new carbon Trek SL 5 in many sizes for R650 per day (you only pay for 2 days). We also have full carbon race bikes like the Trek Madone Disc (size 58), Trek Madone Speed (size 58), Specialized Venge (size 56) and a trek Madone 9.5 (size 60), we rent these bikes out from R900 per day.
Payments can be made by PayPal, Pay Fast and by electronic bank transfers.
Only confirmed bookings will be allocated bikes.
All payments made for the Paarl Cycle Tour will be forfeit if your booking is cancelled for any reason.
